North River Adventures

Check out the new boat of Bruce and Pam’s.

Today was the scheduled day for the trip in the North River. Bruce and Pam’s boat doesn’t have a name yet, so we will call it the North River for now. As we all begin the day, it is raining, but we decide to head off anyway. The North River hasn’t been on a fishing trip yet and it is about time. Pat and I load up our halibut gear and Bruce has all the gear to catch a King with.

We get the boat in the water, then get all the things put away and off we go. What a nice boat, it has a nice top and is warm. Just like sitting at home. Now the adventure begins.

We arrive out at one stop to try and catch a halibut, windy and the tide is running way to fast to fish.

Bruce decides that we need to fish for a King, so they rig up two poles for King fishing then jump under cover out of the rain. Hey, do you see the black cord that Bruce is holding? Well, it is a control for the trolling motor. He can drive it by this device, so much for sitting and holding the tiller handle.

Hey, do you think that the rain will quit today? I don’t know about you but, I think that I will sit under here for now.

Bruce and Pam sure are happy with their new boat. Pat and I are too.

Pam brought some lunch fixin’s with her. Yummy lunch Pam, Thank You!

Pam is helping Pat with his sandwich.

Hey! Give me that Tuna sandwich, I am starved! Fishing is such hard work.

Pam was getting serious about catching a fish for dinner. No luck on fishing though. The wind was blowing too hard to fish in 100 to 200 feet of water,  L

On our way back we decide to pull our pots. Pat and I get our 6 in one pot. Bruce pulls one pot and gets 8. Guess that crab will be our dinner for the night.

Pam is having a great time on the boat.  Thanks for the lunch that you brought for all of us.

Captain Brewski, thanks for the boat trip ~ fishing trip!

Just for the record ~ at about we get a phone call! Hey, we need some more crab! What~~ ya, the bear ate our crab off the porch!! Yea, right ~~ no really he did, I have movies of him doing it. To funny I said! So the moral is ~~ don’t let your crab loaf!

Know Fish Know Luck, Clear !!!!!! North River Adventures needs a name and FAST! Any ideas for a name, please submit them here!
